Unplugged in the Heights, Every Wednesday Night

Unplugged in The Heights is held every Wednesday night starting at 8:00 p.m. at Pour Bros. Craft Taproom!  This event is dedicated to local artists who want to showcase their talent! Enjoy some craft beer and some good music!

German-American Society Corn Boil 

The Peoria German-American Society Corn Boil will take place at Hickory Grove Park (located at 12403 N Hickory Grove Rd. in Dunlap) from Noon – 8 pm. Featuring all you can eat sweet corn plus a pork chop sandwich, baked beans, and cole slaw for $8, admission and parking are free. There will be live entertainment, soccer, bocci ball, a 50/50 and a children’s play area.

The Goo Goo Dolls will perform will perform at the Peoria Riverfront’s Festival Lawn at 8 pm. No seating provided and lawn chairs will be allowed in designated areas only. General admission tickets are $32 in advance, party pit advance tickets are $38.

JACK @ Peoria vs. Cedar Rapids  July 27

The Peoria Chiefs will take on Cedar Rapids at 7 pm at Dozer Stadium. Individual tickets are $11 for advance dugout seating, $10 for advance field seating, and $7 for lawn seats and are available at the Peoria Chiefs Box Office, by calling 309-680-4008.

Whitney’s Walk July 29

Whitney’s Walk will take place at Jubilee College State Park beginning at 7:55 am with the 5K Run and 8 am with the 5K Walk. Cost is $25 for adults and $15 for ages 12 & under.
Since 2004, over $1,000,000 has been raised for depression awareness and suicide prevention programs in central Illinois. Walk, run, or bring a team, but don’t miss out on being a part of this Important cause and help get life-saving information in the hands of our youth.
